Compliance Solutions
Preventive maintenance and technical assistance for safes and locking mechanisms are essential for permanent and non-stop use.
Keeping the safes and locks with periodic preventive maintenance avoids stoppages and heavier corrective technical assistance.
With use, mechanical and electronic equipment wear out and need to be adjusted, lubricated and tested regularly to prevent opening or closing blocks.
In case of interest, we can carry out a technical evaluation, free of charge, of the systems in the facilities to submit a proposal for maintenance or technical assistance.

Safe classification
The use of safes is intended to add protection to your valuables, documents, cash, and other objects that you consider important.
Depending on the type of use and protection objectives, you should then select the most suitable equipment taking into account its dimensions and useful volume, means of blocking, weight, safety classification or strength.
In order to better understand the classification and strength of safes, we provide general indicative information that shows the most popular classes, and the strength and protected values of reference that you should always confirm with your insurance company:
If you want a safe with certified classification, we recommend that you confirm all the information with your Supplier in order to ensure that the equipment is the most suitable for the type of use, and that it meets the required safety and resistance standards.
Practical notes on the various safety standards and classes:
AGAINST THEFT
EN 14450 Safes
Protection of the door and walls of the safe's body against mechanical break-in tools.
S1
S1 is the lowest certification class. This type of safe is mainly recommended for private use or low-value uses.
S2
S2 is the second class of certification. This type of safe is stronger than S1 rated safes.
EN 1143-1 Safety Safes
EN 1143-2 Deposit Safes
Theft/break-in protection and resistance tested against attacks from power tools and thermal operation.
Grade 0
Grade 0 is the first grade protection, and certification, class. Resistance greater than S1 and S2.
Grade I
Grade I equipment prevents burglars from accessing the contents of the safe for 30 minutes using tools such as electric drills, turns, pneumatic hammers, disc saws, mallets...
Grade II
Grade II safes, prevent burglars from partial access for 50 minutes and full access for 80 minutes using tools such as electric drills, fire rams, pneumatic hammers, disc saws, mallets…
Grade III
Grade III safes, offer resistance of 80 minutes to partial access and 120 minutes to full access using tools such as electric drills, turns, pneumatic hammers, disc saws, mallets...
Grade IV
Grade IV safes, offer resistance of 120 minutes to partial access and 180 minutes to full access using tools such as electric drills, turns, pneumatic hammers, disc saws, mallets...
Grade V
Grade V safes, offer resistance of 180 minutes to partial access and 270 minutes to full access using tools such as electric drills, turns, pneumatic hammers, disc saws, mallets…
Note: To reinforce security, safes weighing less than 1,000Kg must be anchored at the installation site as indicated by the Manufacturer.
AGAINST FIRE
EN 15659 Fire protection safes
30 MIN - EN 15659 - PAPER
This rating level provides "light" protection with paper resistance and protection for 30 minutes to 842°C outdoor heat exposures.
It maintains an internal temperature of up to 170°C and prevents the paper from igniting for 30 minutes.
EN 1047-1 Fire protection safes
60 MIN - EN 1047-1 - PAPER
This rating level provides 60-minute protection and resistance to 1090°C outdoor heat exposures.
It prevents the internal temperature from exceeding 170°C and the paper from igniting for 60 minutes, in exposures with an external temperature of 1090°C.
During the tests the vault is exposed to sudden heat to simulate an explosion and is subjected to a drop from a height of 9.15 meters to simulate the collapse of a collapsing building.
120 MIN - EN 1047-1 - PAPER
With this level of classification, the interior temperature remains below 170ºC for 120 minutes and prevents the paper from igniting, with an exterior temperature of 1090ºC.
During the tests the vault is exposed to sudden heat to simulate an explosion and is subjected to a drop from a height of 9.15 meters to simulate the collapse of a collapsing building.
60 MIN - EN 1047-1 - DATE
With this level of classification, the interior temperature remains below 50°C for 60 minutes, in order to preserve digital and computer media, in case of exposure to an external temperature of 1090°C.
During the tests the vault is exposed to sudden heat to simulate an explosion and is subjected to a drop from a height of 9.15 meters to simulate the collapse of a collapsing building.
